I’m Baaaaaaaaaaaaack!

So it has been almost a year since my last update. Well, I guess I should give you some reason why that is. This past year has been H-E-L-L for me. I won’t bore you (or depress you) with all of the details, but suffice it to say that when it rains, it pours. My life pretty much did a flip-flop all the way around and back again, and I am just now picking up the pieces. But on a happier note, I have definitely emerged from this a much stronger person and I know that I can handle whatever this game called life wants to throw at me! That being said, I am sorry for my extended absence and for not saying a word about it. Hopefully we can pick up where we left off!

So, here’s a refresher about what I had going on when I left:

Delilah’s Burning Desire

Delilah Flowers, known as Delilah Pierce in Three Rivers, hummed to herself as she made her way down the dusty road. Once she set her mind to something she never second guessed herself. But on this occasion, she was doing just that. When she had seen the tall man in black enter the saloon the other day, she was mesmerized. His rough good looks and eerie silence made him seem all the more exciting. She didn’t know what he did to get Sheriff Gables all worked up, but it didn’t matter much to her. Sheriff Gables was always worked up about something. She had heard a rumor that this man in black had taken up camp at the deserted cabin in the hills north of town, and she was determined to find him. She never could pass up an opportunity for romance.

As the cabin finally came into sight, Delilah’s spirits dropped. The cabin still looked to be deserted. The two old, wooden chairs still sat out on the front porch and weeds still ruled over the hillock. It didn’t seem to be inhabited, but she had come this far and decided to take a closer look. As she walked up to the door she could hear noises coming from inside. It sounded like a child’s voice singing from inside the cabin; and Delilah decided to go in. When she entered the cabin the first thing she noticed was a young boy fixing what looked like a pathetic little lunch. He screamed and ran back into a corner of the cabin by two ragged beds.

There’s A Storm Moving In

The sun beat down relentlessly over the prairie as Jack Rowley forced his horse to a stop under some shade; if you could actually call it shade. He was dying for a drink and even though he had a full skin of water tied to the saddle it wasn’t exactly what he had in mind. He saw a small town in the distance as he took his big black hat off his head and ran his fingers through his equally black hair. He hoped this little town had a well stocked saloon that he could spend the rest of the day in, drinking away the soreness from three months in the saddle.

Westward Ho!! Challenge Intro

Hey guys! Ok, I’ve started my Westward Ho!! Challenge and so far I am absolutely loving it! I love writing historical stories as you all know, and I have more historically themed neighborhoods in my game than regular neighborhoods! Anyhoo, let me introduce you to all the families in my WHC town of Three Rivers! I haven’t come up with a story line for all the families yet, and even if I had I want it to be a surprise! One you will find out as I post updates (of which the first one is totally ready to be posted!). But first let me introduce you to the families of Three Rivers starting with the Mayor of Three Rivers and his family:

The Hodges Family
