Moving on Up

The couple had so much fun with their baby girl, that they hardly noticed how fast the time was going by. Before they knew it, Camille’s first birthday was upon them. It was a momentous occasion not only because it was Camille’s first birthday, but also because they had completed building their home! They still did not have money for wallpaper or flooring; a baby was much more expensive than they had originally thought. But regardless, they now had added privacy and securtiy. They bought Baby Camille a cute birthday cake to help make her transition into toddlerhood even more exciting!

Camille's first birthday
“I still say we should have named her Gertrude.”

After helping Camille blow out the candles on her birthday cake, Marisa tossed her daughter into the air and the most miraculous event took place. There was a bright flash of light and Camille spun around in mid-air before falling back into her mother’s arms. With a cheers from her father, and confetti falling from the sky, Camille was now a cute little toddler!

Camille becomes a toddler
“Is Benjamin throwing stuff on us again?!”

Now the fun part of having a child finally came. The potty training was especially tiring after Camille woke them up for the hundreth time in the middle of the night. Marisa and Blake couldn’t wait for her to be potty trained!

Potty time!
“It’s your turn.” …. “No, it’s your turn.”
