Moving on Up
Meanwhile, Blake was having a fantastic time in his new job! He loved his job as a Security Officer (mainly because he was allowed to grow his hair back out!), but he was ready to move on to the next phase of law enforcement. He applied and was accepted to the Police Academy! He was excited to go to work/school on his very first day. He heard that the academy was like a combination of boot camp and college, which meant very physically and mentally draining. But nevertheless, he was looking forward to being a real cop.

“I swear, if they even try to shave my head….”
Since he was now in the Police Academy, he received a promotion at work. He was now a Cadet! He was very happy to see his salary go up to 448 simoleans a day, and the hours were much more normal: 9am - 3pm. And with the extra money coming in, Blake and Marisa were finally able to afford wallpaper and flooring in their home. They had a great time going into town to pick out different patterns and textures. In the end, their house turned out to be very lovely and comfortable.

“Yay! No more weeds in the bathroom!”
Blake had to work extremely hard to get through the academy. It had been a couple years now since he’d been in the military; and he hadn’t been exactly keeping up with his exercise routine. But he had to be in top condition now, so he had to start working out again. Marisa always found him working out in front of the TV or to music on the radio. Camille would just giggle at her daddy as he did jumping jacks and crunches. The sound of her laughter and the want to make life as good as possible for his little girl, is what kept him going.

“What do you mean you have to be in shape to be Captain Hero?!”

Sweet update, I love the captions under the photos they are so funny. Your family seems to be coming along nicely.

Let’s see…if you’re talking about the sink in the nursery and the rocking chair in there that matches the nursery linens…they are both from TSR I’m pretty sure.
And yes, Kay..I loved that name! Awesome suggestion and you are forever memoralized in my sims game and my blog..not to mention my heart! hehehe thanks again!
