Expecting
While patiently awaiting the arrival of her new little brother or sister, Camie worked really hard in school. She wanted to have the best grades to show the private school Dean when he came over for the family interview. She had to be accepted; there was no excuse. She spent all of her spare time studying and doing her homework. Blake and Marisa worried that Camie wasn’t enjoying her childhood like all of the other little children in the neighborhood, but Camie insisted that this is what she enjoyed the most; that and cleaning.

“Addition and subtraction are so boring…when are we going to learn about vectors and integrals?”
All of her hard work was paying off. Every day when she came home from school, Camie was excited and proud to see that her grades were rapidly climbing the chart! She soon became the top student in her class, and definitely the teacher’s pet. One day when she stepped off the school bus and finally got up the nerve to look at her report card, Camie couldn’t believe her eyes. A+! She had finally reached perfection! She jumped up and down waving her report card in the air, and yelled across the lawn to her father who had just returned home from work.
“A+! I got an A+!” she yelled, a huge smile on her face.
“Wow, Camie! That’s amazing…I knew you could do it!” Blake yelled back as he rushed over to give his daughter a congratulatory hug.
“Now can we invite the Headmaster over for that family interview? I really want to be in private school by the next school year!” Camie was talking so fast that she barely had time to breathe.
Blake laughed. “Yes, dear. I’ll talk to your mother about it as soon as we go inside. But you still have half of this school year to get through.”
That was enough for Camie. Just the thought of going on to a better school made her satisfied.

“They want to skip me to the 10th grade!”….”But you’re only in 3rd grade now.”
With his daughter excelling at school and a new baby on the way, Blake was extremely content. And work was going well too. He was still serving as a Patrol Officer; keeping the streets safe with the help of his partner Christy. He loved the feeling he got when he put on that uniform and hopped into his police car.

“I can’t wait to use my gun!”

Eeee! Awesome story as always, and the repair woman stuck in door shot makes me giggle madly.
I vote for Cynthia, Claudia, Claire or Clementine!

Is it a “C” theme? I like Claudia and Claire, too… or Caitlin or Chrystelle (which is French, like Camille!).

Ooo, great suggestions once again! So far I have narrowed down the name for this baby to: *drumroll*
Daphne (from Jen)
Claudia (from Kay)
Chrystelle (from Annette)
I’m going to try to figure out how to make a poll for this decision…(I have some time before the next update b/c I am working on the next “Running From a Forgotten Past” update for my next post). All of the afore mentioned names will not be forgotten however! I will continue to refer to them for future babies, and you’ll probably see them in even more polls! Thanks for the input guys, it makes the game so much more fun for me!

Haha, so cute. As usual I love the commentary and I also love that Cammie is such a nerd.
I wonder what she’ll be when she grows up.
