A Time for Growing
They were definitely surprised at how grown-up Camie was acting. But then again..she was getting older. She would soon be a teenager, and the signs were already starting to show. Some nights, Marisa had to practically yank the phone out of Camie’s hands. She was constantly calling and talking to friends from school and even her old nanny. At first it was rather amusing, seeing her blossom into young-adulthood. But it soon wore off when they got their first huge phone bill!

“Oh yeah nanny…I heard fireworks again last night!”
A year seemed to fly by, and before they knew it Daffy was having her first birthday! Blake and Marisa decided to keep it simple for this party since her birthday was on a school-night for Camie. They had a small family party, and Marisa (who had been working on her cooking skills) baked a special birthday cake for Daffy. Blake and Camie gathered around and cheered as Marisa helped the second Brooks child blow out the birthday candles!

“Mommy, can I have Daffy’s piece of cake too?”
Daphne Brooks grew up to an adorable toddler right before their very eyes. Even though she had the same brown hair and blue eyes as her sister, she had a face that was all hers!

“Mommy, Camie ate my cake!”

Awww… I like the name Daphne, too!
It’s funny to see the same NPC’s I play in other people’s blogs. Marisa Bendett’s kids in your game look a little like her kids in my game… which is part of why the genetics part of Sims 2 fascinates me.

Wow, such a great update, you took such nice pictures and Camie is really beautiful! And I’m also glad that Daffy does look different, wonderful when children do not look the same
And I wanted to add, that your interior (toddler room etc) looks awesome, do you probably remember where you got it from? Glad to see that everything’s going so well, and eager to see the next baby(boy?)!

Thanks guys! Yeah, I find it cool too when I see my NPC spouses in other blogs. It is definitely amazing how the genetics system works! Thanks for the wonderful comments guys!
Eva, the nursery set I have is from The Well Dressed Sim I’m pretty sure. I believe all of the items are Free downloads, b/c I do not have an account there! They also have a children’s room in the same pattern, and all of that stuff was free except for the bed linens! Ugh, but any light shade of pink comforter fits well with the rest of the set! Hope this helps!

hahaha, I love that last caption. “Just do everything I say and we’ll get along just fine!” So cute! I hope they get a boy, they seem to want one badly. Camie turned into a really pretty teen and Daphy looks like her mom with her dads eyes and hair!
