A New Baby

Marisa felt sharp pains in her stomach one night a few weeks before the due date of her third child. It was highly unlikely that she was going into labor, but nonetheless she told Blake that she thought she was having contractions. Blake tried to comfort his wife and tell her that it was probably just something she ate. There was no way this baby would be born so premature. But Marisa had a strange feeling that the baby was coming sooner than planned; however, she followed her husband’s advice and went to bed early that night.

Marisa has a belly ache
“Nah, it’s nothing dear….Just walk it off!”

Camille, who had decided to straighten her hair, was studying in the living room in the wee hours of the morning. She was engrossed in a book about criminal forensics and all the new scientific breakthroughs that were going on. She hadn’t been to bed all night because she couldn’t tear her eyes or mind away from the book. She had started reading the book soon after her mother had gone to bed early, complaining of a stomach ache. But she didn’t think anything of it.

Camie studies a lot
“The chemical bonding of the disulphide molecules can be broken down to form….”

All of a sudden Camie heard wailing coming from her parents bedroom. She jumped up dropping her book on the floor, and ran in to see what was going on. And she couldn’t believe what she was seeing. Marisa was standing next to the bed, gripping her swollen stomach and writhing in pain. Camie didn’t know what to do. Her mother’s screams were sure to wake the sleeping Daffy in the next room…and probably the whole neighborhood. She had never witnessed a birth before, and wasn’t sure if this is what it was supposed to look like.

Marisa goes into labor
“Mom, try to be a little more quiet…”

  1. Aww, poor Daffy, always being tripped on - that poor girl *lol* - but well, she will turn out to be nice, for sure. I just wonder what she will look like as a child, because her face is sure some different one! Keep going, Paige :)

  2. LOL, poor Daffy. Glad you found a name you liked! :-D I personally love the name Daphne, and Daffy is a cute nickname, though rather unfortunate for a Sim is perhaps not so bright…I’m caught up on your posts now and still loving the Brooks family! They rule! Three girls now, huh? Will Blake ever get that son?

  3. Sorry, that should have been “though rather unfortunate for a Sim WHO is perhaps not so bright”. Bleh, it’s a Monday. :-)

  4. Wow, I’m so behind on your blog. So sorry but I’m going to catch up now. :) I feel sorry for Daffy but I think it’s funny she’s not as bright as her older sister and also realistic. Children are not always the same. :)
