A New Baby

Before Camie knew what was happening and before she was able to do anything to help, her new little sister was there! Marisa had given one big push, and baby Claudia was born! Marisa and Camie exchanged looks of relief and happiness as Marisa held the new little baby up for her big sister to see her. She was such a cute little girl.

Baby Claudia joins the family
“I’m glad your Daddy is at work, so we don’t have to name you Gertrude!”

When Blake got home that afternoon from work, he had a huge surprise waiting for him. Camie rushed out to tell him what had happened. He couldn’t believe it! The baby was 3 weeks too early! He rushed inside to see her, and to make sure his wife and new daughter were doing okay. In all of his excitement, it didn’t even register to him that he now had three daughters…still no son. But he was overly happy to have another beautiful daughter.

Blake meets his new daughter
“I told you it wasn’t a stomach ache.”

The next year was extremely busy for the Brooks family. Two of their three children were under the age of 4, and there seemed to always be something to do. Thankfully Camie was old enough to help out with the younger girls, and she was happy to do it. She had always wanted to have siblings, and now she had 2. Marisa was constantly busy helping Daphne learn how to walk. Her birthday was fast approaching and Marisa didn’t want her to grow up without learning how to walk!

“No Daffy…you have to move your legs one at a time!”

  1. Aww, poor Daffy, always being tripped on - that poor girl *lol* - but well, she will turn out to be nice, for sure. I just wonder what she will look like as a child, because her face is sure some different one! Keep going, Paige :)

  2. LOL, poor Daffy. Glad you found a name you liked! :-D I personally love the name Daphne, and Daffy is a cute nickname, though rather unfortunate for a Sim is perhaps not so bright…I’m caught up on your posts now and still loving the Brooks family! They rule! Three girls now, huh? Will Blake ever get that son?

  3. Sorry, that should have been “though rather unfortunate for a Sim WHO is perhaps not so bright”. Bleh, it’s a Monday. :-)

  4. Wow, I’m so behind on your blog. So sorry but I’m going to catch up now. :) I feel sorry for Daffy but I think it’s funny she’s not as bright as her older sister and also realistic. Children are not always the same. :)
