Akunaga — Chapter 1
Meanwhile, my daughter Michiko was also having a great time meeting new people. She has always been a very shy little girl, but since she met little Lane Parsons she has really come out of her shell. Almost every day, Lane comes over to visit. Michiko always rushes out to greet her new little friend, it really is a darling event. The girls have quickly become inseparable, and I am so glad that Michiko has found a friend.

At first, I did not put two and two together. I knew that Michiko’s new friend had the last name of Parsons. But it wasn’t until one night when my Boss and a fellow co-worker had a poker night. Mr. Big, which we have always called boss-man, came over with Lane in tow. I was scared at first. We have had kidnapping jobs before, and I certainly did not want anything to happen to Michiko’s new friend. But when Mr. Big introduced Lane as his daughter, the light finally clicked on. Mr. Big was actually Reginald Parsons. I should have realized that he was bound to have a family, but he just seems so unapproachable and well…harsh. Michiko, who has no idea what I do for a living, was thrilled that Lane had come over to spend the night. Mr. Big..er, Mr. Parsons, also brought over a woman whom I had never seen before. I originally figured that she was his wife, or consort, but quickly found out that she was our newest member. Her name is Vyn Kimbrell, and I found her to be absolutely stunning. Our eyes kept catching each other’s gaze through out the entire evening; and each time I could feel a spark of electricity run through my being.

By the end of the night (which turned out to be the next morning), Vyn and I were on very friendly terms. I gathered my courage and asked her out on a date. She blushed ever so slightly and accepted. I could feel the beginnings of love.

I’m really looking forward to reading more! You’ve really thought through your characters’ history, and it shows.

Aww such a sweet update. I like the fact that you included some of their home language into this and his misunderstandings about marisa chen haha. Quite funny indeed. I also like that you included the Nightlife aspect of things. And i was surpried that one of the characters had on the dress that somebody designed. Quite Interesting indeed. Haha i feel so happy for that person. Great update.
