“Meet the Akunaga’s; a family of four that have come to Central City all the way from Tokyo, Japan.”

“Kin Akunaga, his brother Samuru, son Taro, and daughter Michiko left Japan in search of a new beginning. Kin and Samuru lost both of their parents in the devastating earthquake which took place 2 months ago in central Tokyo. Kin also lost his wife of 15 years in the quake. He decided to move with his two children and try to put the pieces of their life back together. Samuru, who said he’s always been interested in traveling, decided to come along with his brother and family. Now sharing a one bedroom home on Mendoza Lane, the Akunaga’s are looking forward to their future. Kin says he is busy making contacts in Central City and has a few business opportunities in the works…but he refused to elaborate. Meanwhile, his brother Samuru is busy working for Red’s Famous 50’s Diner as a Host. He has dreams of one day becoming a Celebrity Chef. Taro, who just turned 16 years old, is trying to adjust to this new lifestyle. He will be attending highschool at the local public school, but says he has no want to go to college. He simply wants “to start a family”. And little Michiko, who turned 9 years old the day after the huge earthquake that tore her family apart, is still trying to cope with the death of her mother and grandparents. A very shy little girl, Michiko’s only hope is that her father finds a new wife so she can have a mother again. Hopefully the Akunaga’s can find happiness once again here in their new home in Central City.”

How cool! I love how you made each family a different nationality, and the way you presented them is awesome. Love those family pics! It’s neat that these were randomly generated. I hope you have fun with the Prosperity Challenge, and I look forward to reading more about these families.

Hehehe, thanks guys! I’m having so much fun with all my simmies! I still love my Brooks family, and my Victorian story too…so I’ll probably still update those (definitely the Victorian one.). Just have so much fun with all the different story lines! I’m sure you all know exactly what I mean! LOL

This looks to be exciting, I’m glad you’ve made families of different nationalities. I did that with one nieghborhood a while ago. I didn’t share their stories though. I had an Asian family, and African family, a German family…etc. It was fun making and playing them. I also like how you started the story like it was a news story…very clever! The photos are great and the names of the news people…hilarious! I was laughing out loud when I figured it out.
