Mayfield: A Saga

“Now let’s move on to the fourth family I met today in downtown Central City: the Sheehan’s, who have moved here from Tralee, Ireland.”

Sheehan's

“Gilley, Dowe, Meara, and Finley Sheehan moved to a one bedroom house on Mendoza Lane a few short weeks ago. Back in Ireland, they were sheep farmers and ran their own wool textile company. After a plague-like epidemic swept through Tralee a few months ago, killing Gilley’s wife and most of their sheep herd, he decided to move his family to a country with more opportunity and promise. And here they are in our city. Gilley hopes to find a nice paying job, but his real dream is to once again find love. “I want a wife, someone I can have more children with, and grow old with,” he says. Meanwhile, Gilley still has his three children from his first wife: Dowe, Meara, and Finley. Dowe, a very handsome 16 year old, just passed the driver’s license test here in Central City and is looking for a part time job so he can raise money to buy a car. He wants to meet new friends and frequent all of the many new hot spots downtown. Meara and Finley are twins, and are both looking forward to starting school and making new friends as well. The Sheehan’s are a lively bunch, breaking into song and dance whenever possible, and their bright red hair is sure to help them in their quest for finding friends!”

  2. How cool! I love how you made each family a different nationality, and the way you presented them is awesome. Love those family pics! It’s neat that these were randomly generated. I hope you have fun with the Prosperity Challenge, and I look forward to reading more about these families. :-)

Just have so much fun with all the different story lines! I’m sure you all know exactly what I mean! LOL

  5. This looks to be exciting, I’m glad you’ve made families of different nationalities. I did that with one nieghborhood a while ago. I didn’t share their stories though. I had an Asian family, and African family, a German family…etc. It was fun making and playing them. I also like how you started the story like it was a news story…very clever! The photos are great and the names of the news people…hilarious! I was laughing out loud when I figured it out.
