Persea — Chapter 1

We couldn’t quite find a Persian dress, but Azura did find one similar. She wasn’t exactly sure that Tucker would like it, but the rest of us were in awe of how beautiful she looked. A joy like I’ve never felt swept over me as I stood there watching my daughter spin around in her wedding gown in front of the mirror. I was taken back in time to when she was a little girl, not much younger than Lilac, and she would play dress-up in my clothes. She always had an affinity for beading and beautiful design.

After our shopping excursion, we met back up with the men and went to dine at our very own Londoste. It seemed the most appropriate place, because it was where Azura and Tucker first met. It was also an extra bonus that we did not have to pay for our sumptuous feast! I was completely speechless as I looked around at my beautiful family.

And of course, I couldn’t take my eyes off of my daughter and her fiance. They seemed totally in love, and I could tell by the look in her eyes, that Azura was right. Even if Tucker were to die the day after their wedding, the love they share at this moment would have all been worth it.

  4. Ooh, I like this family, and I think it’s cool that Darice is fond of traditions. She’s a good caretaker for her lovely family, and she looks so classy. :-) Wonderfully-written update — all of the national details and insight of the narrator make for a very enjoyable read. I hope you’re having as much fun playing as we’re having reading your stories! :-D
