Persea — Chapter 1
That night, we had the wedding ceremony in our very own living room. Azura looked beautiful in her wedding gown, and Tucker…well, he looked nice too. I would have much preferred him to wear the traditional attire of my dear Persia, but then again he is not Persian. Regardless, the wedding was beautiful and we were all rejoicing and toasting to the newlyweds!

And it seemed the newlyweds didn’t only waste time by having a quick wedding…a few short months later, Azura was pregnant. I didn’t even know men Tucker’s age could have children. But I guess it is women that become barren with age. I would like to say that I was as ecstatic as the expecting parents about this new baby. But being the worrying mother and grandmother that I am, I was completely terrified that this baby would only have his father for a short time. Or even worse, never get to meet his father at all. But, as the months passed by, the joy was infectious and I soon could not wait for my new grandchild to be born!

Finally, our wait was over! And my third grandchild was born. Gaspar Trimble was born one evening, and he was a healthy baby boy! The labor was not too difficult for Azura, and thankfully Tucker did not keel over with a heart attack as I half expected. I was beeming with pride and joy as my daughter handed my first grandson to me.

Ooh, I like this family, and I think it’s cool that Darice is fond of traditions. She’s a good caretaker for her lovely family, and she looks so classy.
Wonderfully-written update — all of the national details and insight of the narrator make for a very enjoyable read. I hope you’re having as much fun playing as we’re having reading your stories!
