Mayfield: A Saga

Dinner, Yet so Much More

Ellie had always prided herself in her uncanny ability to read the mind of others. She often knew what emotions were taking hold, and what reaction to expect. But for the first time in her life, this 6th sense failed her. She had no idea what Edward Remmington was thinking behind those beautiful light green eyes. But one thing she was sure of, he was regarding her with an intensity unlike any she’d ever felt. She’d tried to read the look in his eyes, but he seemed to have walls around his being that had taken years in the making.

Sorry for my absence

Hey guys! I’m so sorry it has been so long since I’ve updated. One of my best friends got married and I just got back from 2 weeks in Wisconsin for the celebrations. I have been extremely exhausted since returning home…not to mention the fact that I got some kind of stomach flu while up there, and am now sicker than a dog! But, I would like to share something with you. And no, not the stomach flu!

Both of my projects right now here at Mayfield take a lot of time and actual planning. I actually sit down and plan and write out these stories before I even play the game. Since I’ve been tired and sick, I haven’t had the brain power to write any new updates for my Prosperity Challenge or for “Running from a Forgotten Past”. But I am totally addicted to the sims, so I have still been playing. And I started out with a Legacy-like challenge, and out of boredom made a different blog with just the stories so far of this family. I am totally in love with this family, and thought that I would share them with you.

I will still be updating Mayfield once I’m well again…so don’t worry about that. But in the meantime, I’ll be making little, easy to write updates for this other blog! So check it out!
