Parsons — Chapter 1

Overview of sims:
Fern Parsons - Generation 1, Elder, Fortune, Taurus
Reginald Parsons - Generation 2, Adult, Knowledge, Cancer
Blanche Parsons - Generation 2, Adult, Family, Aquarius
Bree Parsons - Generation 3, Teen, Pleasure, Taurus
Lane Parsons - Generation 3, Child, Unknown, Scorpio

Blanche speaking (heavy French accent): Bonjour! Comment-allez vous? What is zis? You do not speak French? Oh, zis eez no problem! I forget zat here in America eet eez not mandatory for one to learn multiple languages as eet eez in my home country of France. Do forgive me! Let me introduce myself. Je m’appelle Blanche Parsons. Oho, zere I go again! Zat means, my name eez Blanche Parsons! Not a very French surname you say? Well, zat eez because I married an Englishman! Oh yes, I was attending Universitee at zee time and was on a trip to London to study at zee many art museums zere, when I met him. After Universitee, I moved directly to London and married him! Speaking of zee art, I am working now at zee Deh’Javu Modern Art Museum. I am zee top art curator zere at zee moment! I absolutely love my job! I meet so many interesting people, but more importantly I get to see beautiful and exotic pieces of art tous le jours. Oh, zat means “every day”!

Even more important to me eez my family. I have two beautiful daughters; Bree and Lane. Bree eez a teenager now. And boy, does she like to have a good time! Zat child eez always out with her friends, and she always seems to have a different boyfriend every week! I don’t even know zee name of her boyfriend zees week. But he eez quite odd-looking, zat eez for sure! Half of his head eez shaved, and zee other half is combed over eet! Eef he wanted hair zere…why for did he shave eet off in zee first place?! But, my darling Bree, eez turning into a woman now, and trust me, zere is no stopping l’amour!

My other daughter, Lane, eez still a child. She eez very active, and eez also how do you say….a neat-freak! Oui, she eez always cleaning something in zee house! But, she is a sweet child; sometimes grouchy, but altogether sweet. I enjoy spending time with her, for I know how quickly they grow up.

  3. Loved the accent there. I would love to be able to get started with my prosperity challenge. I was only able to set up my families, so I’ll be enjoying yours until I have some time to get to them :)

Boy that old bat needs to leave her daughter-in-law be. I think I would tell her to take a flying leap out of a 20 story window

  4. Hi Paige! I’m late in reading this update, but I loved it! You handled the French accent well — I could hear Blanche’s voice in my head. And what a great character! She totally rocks. I already hate her husband and her mother-in-law, and I’m rooting for her to get together with Ciro. ;-) Awesome, awesome, awesome!

  6. Thanks for the wonderful comments everyone! I am enjoying this Prosperity Challenge! I have been so busy with work lately, and haven’t been able to play the sims much at all. But hopefully I’ll be able to crank out some updates within the next couple of days! And they’ll probably be Christmas-y!
