Parsons — Chapter 1
And zen, zere is mon mari; my husband. Eet pains me to even talk about zis. In zee beginning of our marriage, everything was perfect. We were so in love. But something has changed; for me more so zan for him. You see, I know he eez hiding something from me. I am not sure what eet eez, but I can tell something eez not right. He assures me zat everything eez okay. He works for a law firm zat is based in Manchester, England. Zey decided to expand zere company, and zey sent my Reginald here to America to head zee company. At first, I thought zat maybe something was wrong at work for him, but he tells me zat everything eez fine. But zis suspicion has really caused a rift in our marriage. I feel like I barely know him anymore.

And zen zere is Fern…my mother-in-law. She insisted on moving with us to America, and now she lives with us. Oh, I cannot stand zis woman! She is constantly telling me what to do, and how to do eet! Not only eez she impossible to live with…she eez a horrible person as well! But mon mari, Reginald, absolutely adores her! Let me tell you about her!
First of all, I should tell you that she eez part of zee reason for my mistrust of mon mari. Zey have a very odd relationship! For a man of 40 years old, Reginald should not be so dependent on his mother! I swear to you, zey are more like best friends zan mother and son. Zey are always whispering about something, and zen when I come into zee room, all of a sudden zere is no more talking! Eet eez as if zey have some huge secret, and I am not allowed to know eet. Zey are always together. Eef he eez not at work, zen he eez with her!

Hey Paige - this was SO funny! Wooow, I really really enjoyed it, and especially the thing with the French accent! That was so cool *g*. Wasn’t it a bit difficult to leave out all those ‘th’-es *lol*? Anyway, nice new story, definitely! Only, what is prosperity challenge? I have never really learned about it! Whatever, I am really looking forward on a new update here!! Cool

Loved the accent there. I would love to be able to get started with my prosperity challenge. I was only able to set up my families, so I’ll be enjoying yours until I have some time to get to them
Boy that old bat needs to leave her daughter-in-law be. I think I would tell her to take a flying leap out of a 20 story window

Hi Paige! I’m late in reading this update, but I loved it! You handled the French accent well — I could hear Blanche’s voice in my head. And what a great character! She totally rocks. I already hate her husband and her mother-in-law, and I’m rooting for her to get together with Ciro.
Awesome, awesome, awesome!

Thanks for the wonderful comments everyone! I am enjoying this Prosperity Challenge! I have been so busy with work lately, and haven’t been able to play the sims much at all. But hopefully I’ll be able to crank out some updates within the next couple of days! And they’ll probably be Christmas-y!
