Births & Birthdays

I know it’s been awhile since my last Brooks’ Legacy Update, but I miss them terribly! So here’s an update about what’s happened with them! Last we saw of them, Blake and Marisa were expecting their 4th child and desperately hoping for a son to carry on the family name. Camille, or Camie for short, was in the midst of her teenage years and very happy to have finally been accepted into private school. Daphne, or as her family lovingly calls her “Daffy”, is as absent-minded as ever. And last but not least, Claudia was a happy and joyful toddler. Now to see what’s happening!

Blake Brooks was the proudest father in the town. His three beautiful daughters were happy and growing faster than he could believe. Camille was already in the middle of her highschool years, Daffy had not failed out of school yet (which was a miracle in and of itself), and little Claudia would be having a birthday soon and joining her older sisters in school. As Blake looked around at his daughters, he just couldn’t believe how fast they were growing up.

“Daffy, didn’t Daddy tell you that baby Claudia is not a play toy?”

The months flew by and before they knew it, it was time for Marisa to give birth to the 4th Brooks child! It was late one evening after the girls were finishing up their homework, and Blake was getting ready to put Claudia to bed, when Marisa felt those familiar pains. Before long, she was howling in agony as the new little baby made its way into the world! Everyone gathered around to lend their support.

“I am never having another baby!!!!”

That night, Blake had another daughter to tuck into bed. That’s right, it was another baby girl! Baby Desiree was welcomed into the Brooks family. Even though everyone was hoping for a boy, once they laid eyes on their new little daughter (and sister), all disappointments were forgotten! She was absolutely adorable with Blake’s brown hair and baby blue eyes, and Marisa’s fair skin tone. She was definitely a Brooks child!

“If I just keep having babies, one will eventually have to be a boy!”

A few weeks later, it was time for yet another big day. This time it was Claudia’s birthday! The family threw another semi-big birthday party for her. They invited a few close friends, and Marisa baked her special birthday cake for the occasion. Little Claudia was smiling from ear to ear as her Daddy brought her up to the glowing cake. She took a deep breath and blew out all the candles as her family and loved ones sang “Happy Birthday” to her!

“Daffy, if you blow out Claudia’s candles one more time I’m gonna….”

  2. I love that picture of Marisa just before she gives birth to her son. From that angle, she looks like a real pregnant woman–like she’s so big, she’s just about to pop!

  4. Awww, poor Daffy, always being tripped on ;) - she’s not that pretty, right, but I think she shouldn’t be the scapegoat all the time *lol*. Otherwise: Yaaaay, a Brooke update!! Great one, and five children is a huge number already… and for my gen 6 I’m planning on twice as much, yikes! Well, at least 3 already ;) . I loved it!

  5. Congrats on finally getting a boy! I had one family, when I first started playing Sims 2, that just kept having boys. I wanted a girl, but they never had one. I even had them adopt a baby and they still got a boy, lol! ;)
