Births & Birthdays
A few weeks before Marisa’s due date, the family celebrated yet another birthday. This time it was Blake’s turn to blow out the candles. They threw a huge birthday bash for him…after all, he was becoming an elder! All of their friends came to cheer him on, and Blake finally got up enough courage to blow out the candles. he was a bit nervous about becoming an elder, when he still had 4 children at home and one still not even born yet! But everyone pushed him to the cake and he finally gave in!
“Are you sure I can’t have some of that elixir stuff instead?”
After his transition was complete, everyone stood back and looked at the new Blake Brooks. He was still a very handsome man, even though he had a few more wrinkles and a lot more gray hairs.
“Don’t cut the cake yet! I gotta go to the bathroom!”
For his birthday, Marisa and the girls gave Blake a nice portrait of all his daughters. He sure did have a pretty bunch of girls. He was the proudest Daddy when he went to hang that portrait on the wall. And he hung it in the living room where everyone could see his girls.
“I can’t believe we were able to get Daffy to stand still for that long!”
Even though Blake was now an elder, he still continued to go to work. The family really needed that income. Especially since 3 of the girls were in school, Desiree would be joining them soon, and a new little baby was still on the way! And Blake didn’t mind. He still enjoyed his line of work, and he really felt that he was keeping the streets and the town safe for his growing family.
“Anything’s better than being the only man in a house with 5 women!”
Great update! I was really looking forward to something like this. I see the excitement you as a player felt to get a boy finally…hehe, trust me, I know the feeling!

I love that picture of Marisa just before she gives birth to her son. From that angle, she looks like a real pregnant woman–like she’s so big, she’s just about to pop!

Hehehe thanks for the comments guys! Yeah Annette…she’s so big b/c after having 4 children my poor pretty Marisa is as fat as she possibly can be LOL. She has done nothing but give birth and eat! No exercising at all, so she’s really really fat! LOL so yeah, she’s super big!

Awww, poor Daffy, always being tripped on
- she’s not that pretty, right, but I think she shouldn’t be the scapegoat all the time *lol*. Otherwise: Yaaaay, a Brooke update!! Great one, and five children is a huge number already… and for my gen 6 I’m planning on twice as much, yikes! Well, at least 3 already

Congrats on finally getting a boy! I had one family, when I first started playing Sims 2, that just kept having boys. I wanted a girl, but they never had one. I even had them adopt a baby and they still got a boy, lol!

Great update! Marisa seems relieved to be done with all of those pregnancies.
