Merry Christma-Hanna-Kwanz-akuhs Everyone!

I can’t believe it’s Christmas already! I hope you all are having a great time with your friends, family, and loved ones on this wonderful holiday! I know I haven’t been posting much lately, but I’ve been super busy lately. I got a new job and now work 50+ hours a week, my fiance and I moved into a new apartment last week so we’ve been packing and moving in all of our spare time, and of course…we’re busy planning our wedding! So things have been out of control for me lately! But don’t worry, I’m still going to be updating with my dear ol’ Simmies! They are just dying to tell their crazy life stories! So, it wouldn’t be a good post without a few pictures! Here’s my families from my Prosperity Challenge all decked out for Christmas, and ready to wish you good tidings and great joy this holiday season!

The Akunaga’s

–I’m sure you all remember the Akunaga’s! They are my first family in this Prosperity Challenge! Kin Akunaga, his brother Samuru, son Taro, and daughter Michiko all moved to Central City from Japan! Already through with week one, Samuru met a lovely lady named Marisa. Marisa moved in with the Akunaga’s and soon told the family that she was pregnant! So Samuru is about to be a Daddy! Meanwhile, Kin was falling for his co-worker Vyn, and finally popped the question. She said yes of course! Taro also has a new girlfriend, whose name also happens to be Marisa. And little Michiko is looking forward to her upcoming transition into her teenage years!

The Persea’s

–Here’s the Persea’s. Phineas and his wife Darice, their children Ciro and Azura, and Ciro’s daughters Kira and Lilac all moved to Central City from modern day Iran, although Darice still insists that she is from Persia. The family opened up their very own restaurant named “Londoste”, with the help of a benefactor, a Mr. Reginald Parsons. The restaraunt is doing extremely well, and so is the family. The biggest news from Week 1 with the Persea’s was the fact that Azura met and fell in love with Tucker Trimble, who was the host at Londoste. They were married soon after (b/c Tucker is really old and could keel over at any moment) and they welcomed their first child…a son…whom they named Gaspar. (I really like this family!)

The Parson’s

–Remember the Parsons? Reginald, his mother Fern, his wife Blanche, and his two daughters Bree and Lane came to Central City from England (and France in Blanche’s case). Reginald (with a lot of help from his mother) runs the criminal faction in town although it is a well kept secret. Even his wife doesn’t know about it! But Blanche has her own secrets. She’s secretly having an affair with Ciro Persea, whom happens to be indebted to Reginald b/c of a hefty loan that helped him build his restaurant! (Sound like a soap opera yet?!)

The Sheehan’s

–Here’s a family you haven’t actually met yet! The Sheehan’s. I sort of introduced them in my very first post for this challenge, but I haven’t posted their Week 1 events yet though. But as you can see from the picture, I have played out their Week 1, and now all I need is the time to sit down and crank out an update! So, I’m not going to go into detail about them…you’ll just have to wait and see!

The Okapi’s

–And last but not least, the Okapi’s. As you can see, I haven’t even played out their Week 1 yet, but I still wanted to have a nice holidays picture of them! So here it is! But don’t worry, I’ll be sure to post their update as soon as I can!

So, that was just a quick update to let you all know I’m still alive and well! Expect some updates about my Prosperity Challenge in the near future! Once the holidays have settled down, and I can get back to a normal routine, I’ll be sure to crank out the updates! Until then…Happy Christmas and Merry New Year everyone! Be safe and God bless!

–Paige
